Thirty restaurants, a mile of art and a Greek village are all coming to the Highway 101 corridor before mid-September, giving Encinitas residents three chances to eat, browse and celebrate close to home.

Here's what to know about each event.

Taste of Encinitas — Tuesday, Aug. 25

The 37th Annual Taste of Encinitas returns to downtown Coast Highway 101 on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., according to the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association. The venue address is 818 South Coast Highway 101.

Tickets cost $60 per person and include tastings from 30 restaurants, 10 drink samples from more than 35 Sip Stops offering wine, beer, ciders and non-alcoholic options, and live music at four locations: The Lumberyard Courtyard, Charlie's Electric Studio, Concept Board Shop and Hansen Surfboards.

Food vendors confirmed so far include Jojo's, Biergarden Encinitas, Baked Bear, Broad Street and Gelato 101, with more than 20 additional vendors participating. RPG is the presenting sponsor.

LeucadiART Walk — Sunday, Aug. 30

The Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association's 20th Annual LeucadiART Walk takes over Highway 101 in Leucadia on Sunday, Aug. 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Admission is free.

The event features fine artists, sculptors, potters, photographers, printmakers and handmade crafters, plus children's art activities, live music and a 21-and-over beverage garden.

Brittany Corrales, then the association's executive director, described the walk in an April 2023 call for artists as "an honest representation of the character, art and community here in our area." The free-admission model remains in place for the milestone 20th edition.

Cardiff Greek Festival — Sept. 12-13

The 46th Annual Cardiff Greek Festival runs Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 3459 Manchester Ave. in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, a half-mile east of I-5 at the Manchester exit.

Admission is $4. Children under 12, active military, police and firefighters with ID get in free. Free parking is available at adjacent MiraCosta College. No pets are allowed; ADA-certified service dogs only.

The festival transforms the church grounds into a Greek island village with Hellenic cuisine, entertainment and hospitality.
