Encinitas Community Park's skate area, known as Poods, will host three days of free professional women's skateboarding competitions starting Friday, Nov. 6.
The 15th annual Exposure festival runs through Sunday, Nov. 8 at the park, located at 425 S. Santa Fe Dr. Competitions span vert, bowl and street disciplines, according to the event's official site.
Visit California's November events guide describes Exposure as the largest and longest-running women-focused skateboarding competition in the country, noting that the field includes professional skateboarders and Olympians.
Admission is free.
Beyond the competitions, the festival features a vendor village with prizes and games, learn-to-skate clinics open to all ages and a lineup of food trucks, according to the event organizers. North County Pipeline's events listing also noted athlete appearances among the weekend's offerings.
The event doubles as a benefit. Organizers say proceeds support programs and resources for survivors of domestic violence.
Competitor registration is handled through The Boardr, a skateboarding event platform. Details are available on the Exposure Skate website.
The festival runs Friday, Nov. 6 through Sunday, Nov. 8 at Encinitas Community Park, 425 S. Santa Fe Dr.
